Pressure retention, oxygen management, compatibility with the bottle, line speed, safety, and cost are real constraints. WineWaste starts there.

Wine packages often borrow visual language from tradition. We are interested in when that ritual enriches a product—and when it merely adds material.
Then the end
“Recyclable” is not a universal outcome. Size, material mix, local collection, and sorting equipment shape what is actually recovered.
